In this position, she helped domestic violence victims obtain restraining orders from their abusers, as well as initiate custody proceedings. She then went to a more general practice family law firm, where she was a Litigation Associate overseeing a variety of family law cases from child custody to divorce and equitable distribution.
Upon graduating with her MBA in 2020, she decided to branch out into an area where she could use both her law degree and business degree, and found that Franchise.Law was a perfect fit for that. Her background in family law actually set her up really well for franchising as she is able to analyze issues with out-of-the-box thinking and utilize the personable skills she learned in this area of law.
