OFFICE HOURS: 9AM - 5PM MON TO FRI

Jaylyn Noble Powell is an Associate Attorney at Franchise.Law in Charlotte, North Carolina. She joined this firm on February 1, 2021. As an Associate Attorney with Franchise.Law, Jaylyn offers law services for companies that franchise their business, as well as individuals looking to purchase a franchise.

Jaylyn started her law career in family law as a Staff Attorney for Legal Aid of North Carolina. In this position, she helped domestic violence victims obtain restraining orders from their abusers, as well as initiate custody proceedings. She then went to a more general practice family law firm, where she was a Litigation Associate overseeing a variety of family law cases from child custody to divorce and equitable distribution.

Upon graduating with her MBA in 2020, she decided to branch out into an area where she could use both her law degree and business degree, and found that Franchise.Law was a perfect fit for that. Her background in family law actually set her up really well for franchising as she is able to analyze issues with out-of-the-box thinking and utilize the personable skills she learned in this area of law.

Jaylyn enjoys franchising because she likes that it covers all aspects of law, depending on what type of business she is working with – and that variation keeps things exciting. She is passionate about helping franchisors realize how far their business can grow, and loves working with brands who have a purpose and mission that she admires.

Jaylyn brings versatility and a commitment to success to all of her clients, helping them strive in their respective industries. In her work, she helps her clients to understand rules and regulations that affect their business so that they have a more holistic understanding of franchising in general. She considers her work with her clients to be a partnership, ensuring that they collaborate on creative solutions to any problems that may arise.

Her work ethic reflects that of our firm by highlighting that we are a team. Although you may be working with one attorney primarily, Franchise.Law utilizes a team approach, so you are getting the best advice, research, and opinions as it relates to your franchising needs.

When Jaylyn is not working, you can find her on stage at a local community theater, or out hiking with her husband, Aaron, and dog, Kona.
