Our team at Franchise.Law strives to be an active organization in our community by supporting our neighbors and local organizations in any way we can. From offering a scholarship to supporting local organizations or events, we take great joy in leaving a positive impact on our community. We also often look for ways to both share our knowledge and learn more from others in the industry by attending and participating in expos and events when we are able. We took great pleasure in announcing our sponsorship of the Catalyst Center! This non-profit offers their resources and services to help businesses and entrepreneurs achieve sustainable growth and reach their professional goals. This year they held their 8th Annual Leading Ladies Women’s Business Conference to showcase female small business owners and emerging leaders. Our team was very excited to work with such an amazing nonprofit and uplift the amazing female entrepreneurs within the organization!

With the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic still affecting many of our neighbors, our firm hosted a virtual fund drive benefiting the Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina to help those in need in our community. One of the biggest reasons we started our firm is to help clients with their franchise law needs. This is because we believe in the power of entrepreneurship and its ability to transform the lives of both business owners and their patrons. One way we work to support business owners in our community is by sponsoring Inmates to Entrepreneurs, which is a nonprofit dedicated to educating individuals with criminal records on how they can start a business successfully. To learn more about this program, check out our Inmates To Entrepreneurs course page.
Our very own Jason Power is a frequent contributor and supporter of Franchise Expo South, a regional expo where hundreds of franchise concepts and opportunities are put on display. This expo also features an educational program providing attendees the tools they need to be successful right from the start of their franchise journey. As franchise lawyers, Jason and Jonathan both believe in working with and learning from others in the industry to figure out how they can provide the best value to their clients.
In addition to Franchise Expo South, our firm also regularly attends events held by The Great American Franchise Expo, an organization that connects hundreds of franchise businesses with potential owners. The Great American Franchise Expo holds both in person and virtual events that provide education to participants through seminars from industry experts. Our team enjoys attending these events to share our knowledge with others in the industry, helping to sharpen their skills and allowing us to serve our clients in a wide range of franchise law needs.
